Make A Perfect Pot of Tea Fill the kettle with freshly drawn cold water Put the kettle on to boil. While kettle is heating, fill teapot with hot tap water to warm, or "hot the pot". When water in the kettle is boiling, empty the water from the teapot. Place one teaspoon of loose tea per cup and "one for the pot" into the tea sleeve. Place sleeve into teapot. Add boiling water and allow to steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove sleeve, stir and enjoy!
